I have been meaning to start my blog for a few years but have never gotten around to it. Well, today I finally got around to it.

My name is Aislin (pronounced Ashleen). I am a Polymer clay artist, though I also work in other mediums such as pencil, paint, mixed media, gardening (I consider dirt to be a medium of art : ) ) beading, carving and any thing else artsy that I can think of.
So why Dreaming Mouse? Well, I can't really answer you, but for one thing who doesn't love the idea of a sweet little mouse with its tail curled around its little feet dreaming mousy dreams? Perhaps he is dreaming of polymer clay? You will have to ask him what he was dreaming about when he wakes up.
This blog will be my online artist's journal and will record my process as an artist. In the future I will be posting techniques, tutorials, what I have been working on lately, inspiration, and my overall process.
I hope you will enjoy reading about my artistic journey as much as I enjoy living it!
